Is love? I could not be.

Romantic companies have recently increased in the United States and have become a report on the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) last year, reportedly this week. The figure of this news was reported to the agency from 8,500 in 2015 to 21,000 in 2018. The number of people lost quadrupled in that same period, reaching 143 million dollars in the past year.

Romantic companies, but criminals usually find their victims online, through dating sites or social networks. Scammers create a false profile, often building a credible personality with someone else's picture and direct communication. They fall in love with the victims, win their love and trust, until the opportunity to ask for money comes.
