Ariana Grande is sued for video from "God is a Woman"

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Pop star Ariana Grande was sued by a Las Vegas artist who claims she violated her copyrights for the image of a woman in the flame of a candle featured in Grande's popular video "God is to Woman. "

The lawsuit was filed Thursday in the district court in Nevada by attorneys for Vladimir Kush and his Kush Fine Arts Las Vegas company. Messages were sent to the representatives of Grande on Monday about the lawsuit without getting a response.

The lawsuit claims that the image that appears near the 1:00 minute of Grande's video is almost identical to the paintings that Kush created and recorded in 1999 and 2000.
